The offshore snapper trip is only offered during snapper season (2026 dates TBD). This is the perfect trip to go out and catch your own delicious red snapper, a delicacy everywhere along the gulf coast and beyond. These hard fighting fish always make for an exciting trip. We use various techniques which include drifting, trolling, and jigging. If you’re not familiar with these techniques, Captain Paul will be glad to teach you.
While we primarily target red snapper on this trip, we may also reel in kingfish and other “bonus spices” like Cobia, Mahi, and Triple Tail. We typically fish multiple spots and run up to 60 miles offshore of Galveston.
